Hello, my name is Rudy Gnodde

I am computer programmer from The Netherlands. I mostly work with TYPO3 CMS and Symfony, preferably making large, complex websites and webapps. I also enjoy messing around with Home Assistant, trying to automate stuff as much as my wife allows (so mostly just in my home office) and usually have a couple of other personal projects I'm working on. Other than that I spend my time with my family, playing board and computer games, hiking, cycling, politics, reading and relaxing.

On this website I post anything I think is interesting and like to share. Mostly it's about programming, home automation, some hiking and maybe a little politics. Any opinions I write here are my own and not the opinion of any company I work for or organisation I'm affiliated to, unless stated otherwise.

Hiking near Grolloo II

I had the afternoon free today, so I went down to Drenthe to hike the "Sprokkelspoor" near Grolloo again. It was cold, but great. I always love coming there.
